Elect to Pray

On Election Day, St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Sparta (85 Conestoga Trail) invites our neighbors to join in community prayer or to just simply seek a quiet place for individual reflection and meditation.

The Church will be open from 6am to 8pm, come any time. 
All are welcome.

Hurricane Matthew roared through the Caribbean and Eastern seaboard of the United States last week, bringing destruction to Hati and the Carolinas. 

Several weeks ago, Louisiana experienced unprecedented flooding.which left countless homes and lives in ruin. 

The need for financal help is great. 

On Sunday Rev. Debbie, spoke about the Epsicopal Relief and Development fund.

Veterans Day Service

Sunday, November 12

On Sunday November 13th at our 10:30am service we will be honoring our Nations Veterans.

Members of St. Mary's Church and Veterans from the Sparta area are invited to this special service.

Reverend Debbie will offer a special blessing to all those who served.

Santa Sack Ingathering

Sunday, December 11

Sunday December 11th is the day to bring your Santa Sacks to Church!!

Mother Debbie will bless them at the 10:30am service and they will be distributed right after!

Fall Clean Up

Sunday, November 13

Our Annual Fall Cleanup Day will be held on Sunday November 13th.

We will have our normal two services.

The clean up will take place after the 10:30am service

Pizza lunch will be served following the clean up

Project Thanks

Sunday, November 19

It’s that time to kick off the Holiday Season. Project Thanks is on November 19th this year. For those of you not familiar with Project Thanks this has been a tradition at St Mary’s for over 30 years.
