Manna House is a soup kitchen serving lunch to anyone who is in need of a delicious lunch, which is served by volunteers from churches around Sussex County. Manna House was started over 20 years ago and serves lunch from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm every day Monday through Friday. The food is fresh and nutritional and most of the time made from scratch by volunteers, unless an organization brings a meal from a dinner held the night before. Each day a group of volunteers from different churches and organizations provide for the preparation of the meal. St. Mary’s works the third Tuesday of each month at Manna House. Contact Manna House if you are interested in volunteering.
On Sunday October 15th following the 10:30am service we will be assembling college care packages for our college students.
Packages will be prepared for all whether they are away at school or commute from home. Read more
